"I want to reposition the brand in the footwear design world," Mouret told us. "It had a prominent role in the Eighties and it deserves the same standing today. Designing shoes is a very different attitude to designing clothes - shoes are very much about sexuality. A woman is not dressed without a pair of beautiful shoes - it changes an outfit."
