There is an event taking place over August bank holiday which attracts visitors from all over the globe and has been taking place since the early sixties. it is renowed for being the biggest street party in Europe.
The audience will be bigger than any Olympic event ever staged, yet the mainstream media in the UK will only report the number of arrests and the number of policemen on duty.
"The Nottinghill Carnival." Those of us drawn to this street festival year after year are pulled there by the colour, the pageantry, music, food, all rolled into one great big party in which for one weekend you can lose yourself in revellery at its best.
