IN 1932 Charles Revson founded his pioneering cosmetics brand,
Revlon.
This month sees the opening of an exhibition celebrating 80 years
of the iconic brand, featuring fine art, installations and pieces sourced from
the Revlon archives.
"I am totally excited to be involved in the exhibition. Revlon has such a
wonderfully interesting heritage so it's great that I have the opportunity to be
involved in the telling of its story to the rest of the industry and public
alike," Revlon UK nail ambassador Jenny Longworth told us. "Revlon has been
integral to the nail industry's evolution in particular, so it is even more
special for myself to be involved. I will be creating bespoke nail designs for
the event and also a DIY version so people can take a piece of the exhibition
home on their fingertips. I am also working on [some of the installations],
pushing the boundaries of nails through the medium of art."
Enamoured: 80 Years of Revlon will run from November 30 to December 2 at the
London Film Museum, Covent Garden, 45 Wellington Street, London WC2E 7BN. Entry is free.
