BACKSTAGE BEAUTY

The best place to spot autumn/winter 2016's big beauty trends first? Backstage at the NYC shows 

HAIR & MAKE UP



The look at Prabal Gurung, by Diane Kendal, was radiant and fresh with subtle sunkissed sparkle on the eyes and cheek.




Prabal GurungHair was by Anthony Turner, styled in textured twisted ponytails. 



Diane von FurstenbergAt Diane von Furstenberg, Pat McGrath created a graphic eye with shadow applied into the crease of the eyelid. Skin was illuminated and lips a soft nude.




Diane von FurstenbergBouncy blow-dries by Orlando Pita were tweaked to suit each model's individual style, from supersized curls to straight and sleek styles. 



Derek LamMake-up by Tom Pecheux at Derek Lam was minimal and fresh, with a pale lip to complete it.



Victoria BeckhamAt Victoria Beckham, Pat McGrath decided one beauty look just wasn't enough. A wash of khaki across the eyes was the look for some of the girls, whilst others sported bold red lips.





At Altuzarra, graphic eyes by Tom Pecheux were customised for each model, whilst some had their eyes left bare.



Alexander WangA little natural-looking colour around the eyes gave models at Alexander Wang a "morning after" look, whilst Diane Kendal and her team left skin looking fresh.



Fenty Puma by RihannaPat McGrath gave models perfected skin and bold black lipstick for the Fenty Puma by Rihanna show.



Jason WuThe focus of the Jason Wu make-up look was clumpy lashes, by Yadim.


Jason WuHair was styled in soft waves with deep side partings, by Paul Hanlon.
