Donatella Versace was rocking out to Guns N' Roses in her Milan palazzo when she was struck by something as irresistible as a Slash riff. Why not adopt the staple street uniform of many young women - jeans, a band-t-shirt, and maybe a little jacket too - then elevate them to planet Versace?

Speaking before last night's spring 2014 show in Milan, Versace explained: "I wanted to take items from the street and make them luxurious. It's for before the cocktail hour, for the rock-chick woman who is very glamorous. Because that's me, and that's Versace."
