"I was looking at butterflies and different designs in butterfly wings, and I looked at insects like ladybugs and bees. I’ve always liked paper cuts and stripes, so just by looking into that, I had the idea to do an insect slumber party. We did garden furniture and flower beds, and [the models are] actually sleeping in the beds".

SOPHIA WEBSTER'S SLUMBER PARTY
For her spring presentation, hosted at the Secret Garden in the Topshop Show Space on Sunday, Sophia Webster envisioned an “insect slumber party.” Seussian-styled models draped themselves across flower beds as they showed off heels festooned with ladybugs and polka dots. Laser-cut gladiator boots revealed a fantastical butterfly motif, while the designer’s new bags showcased phrases like, “High Flyer” and “You Buggin’.”
