HOT BUTTERED RUM


What you need
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 long strand of lemon rind
  • 60ml dark rum
  • Hot water, to top up the glass
  • Small pinch ground cloves
  • Small knob butter
What you do
  1. Tie the lemon rind around the cinnamon stick. Place into a heatproof glass and add the rum.
  2. Pour in the hot water, add the ground cloves and top with the knob of butter, allowing it to melt on the surface before stirring in. Serve immediately.
