CHOPARD

Harrods’ Disney Princesses haute jewellery collection by Chopard.

To celebrate to Harrods' Disney-themed Christmas celebrations, Swiss jeweller Chopard has created one-off pieces of suitably fairytale proportions.

Inspired by Belle's personality from Beauty and the Beast , this white gold necklace is set with precious and fine stones - symbolising love and the changing shades of life. Electric blue 69 cts pear-shaped tanzanite and blue round sapphires, swimming through purples and violets with marquise-cut and oval amethysts symbolise Belle's flowing, graceful gown. With a price tag of £748,000 , its every princesses dream.

Described by Chopard as a 'delectably delightful high jewellery creation', this apple ring features a delicate leaf paved with round emeralds and tsavorites tethered on a stem that remains sturdy with its rare and round brown diamonds. Snow White would certainly have been tempted by this creation - and the £92,000 price tag.

Cinderella's classically beautiful character has been bestowed with tantalising pair of £92,000 earrings with dazzling diamonds and triangular aquamarines with a sprinkling of white pearls.

Reminiscent of the floating flowers on which Tiana and her Prince from the The Princess and the Frog floated upon on their quest to end a spell, Chopard has created a spectacular necklace of baby blue flowers made of briolette-cut paraibas tourmalines bring to memory the powder blue gown worn by Tiana on the night she met her Prince. The £601,000 creation was designed with intertwined branches paved with sublime tsavorites and forest green emeralds, meeting at junctions with luscious pearls of the greatest sheen.

Playful earrings designed by Chopard's co-president and artistic director, Caroline Scheufele are a tribute to Sleeping Beauty . A playful creation costing £179,000 , flapping birds made from round emeralds and tsavorites carry two flowers made from amethysts and paraibas tourmalines.

Rapunzel's flowing golden hair is referenced in this statement piece, which is entirely made of paved diamonds set in rose gold to conjure images of the dazzling, youthful properties of her locks.

A giant brooch in the shape of a glittering flower represents the fighting spirit of Mulan , and features an impressive rubellite cabochon at the centre of the piece. Rubies cut in squares and ovals, round rubellites, round and pear-shaped pink sapphires, violet and pink spinels and oval pink tourmalines ensure every shade of Mulan's spirit is celebrated.

A sketch shows a bracelet inspired by Pocahontas with a distinctly tribal design made from rubies, pink and blue sapphires, paraibas tourmalines, amethysts and diamonds.

A sketch shows a bracelet inspired by Ariel , The Little Mermaid, this bracelet represents her glistening tail with multiple circles paved with diamonds while blue chalcedony beads create an effect that is similar to the ocean.

For Aladdin's Princess Jasmine , Chopard has created a pendant necklace, the lines of which fall in such a way that Jasmine's distinctive hour glass figure is echoed. Turquoise beads form the chain of the necklace while intertwined yellow gold bears a resemblance to Disney's own rendition of the character's jewellery. The main drop of the necklace is an impressive pear-shaped turquoise cabochon of 283cts dusted with diamonds.
