MEGAN HESS

Megan Hess is an international fashion illustrator who works with some of the most prestigious fashion designers and luxury brands around the world, such as: Prada, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co., Yves Saint Laurent, Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Fendi, Ladurée, Givenchy, Wedgwood, Salvatore Ferragamo, Michelle Obama, Cartier, Laduree, Montblanc, Balenciaga, Guerlain, Paspaley, Tag Heuer, and Disney.

Her original pieces of art have varied in scale from the size of a postage stamp to the expanse of an entire building. Her work has appeared on the bottom of luxury swimming pools in Dubai and on the walls of some of the most coveted fashion houses around the world.

She illustrates all of her work with a bespoke Montblanc pen, who she affectionately calls Monty.

Her best days are those spent creating in her studio.

An initial career in graphic design evolved into art direction for some of the world’s leading design agencies. In 2008 Hess illustrated the New York Times number one selling book Sex And The City - written by Candace Bushnell. She has since illustrated portraits for Vanity Fair and Time, created iconic accessories for Henri Bendel and illustrated the windows of Bergdorf Goodman in New York.

Hess’s signature style can also be found on her bespoke range of silk scarves, cushions and Limited Edition prints sold around the globe.

She has written and illustrated 3 best selling books: Fashion House, The Dress and Coco Chanel.

One of Megan’s favorite creative outlets is to create new Limited Edition Print Collections. Each Giclee is printed on Canson Arches Museum Velin, a deluxe heavy weight 315gsm, cream coloured, slightly textured, hand-moulded rag. Every print is UV coated, signed and editioned by Megan. Her inspirations range from the mystery of the black feather to glistening diamonds and the softest tulle.
