Ralph Lauren will be making its presence felt during London Fashion Week with the opening of its first Polo Ralph Lauren flagship store in Europe.
The boutique will be officially unveiled on London’s Regent Street on September 15, the day before fashion week mania hits the city. The 17,561 square-foot space will carry the full breadth of the brand’s lines for women, men and children.
“The English way of life has always inspired me,” explained Ralph Lauren. “Their style has an ease that blends the most modern innovation with an innate appreciation for tradition. London is the perfect city to showcase to Europe the energetic personality of Polo and the fine details of its craftsmanship.”
Each floor of the three-tiered building provides a different shopping experience, with the lower level featuring ‘The Polo Custom Shop’, which encourages consumers to put their personal stamp on Polo products. Casual menswear sits on the same floor.
The ground floor has been decorated to resemble a club-like space, selling haberdashery and other tailored menswear, and the upper level features womenswear and childrenswear, including the brand’s introduction to Polo Sport, which launches its first comprehensive women’s line this Autumn.
Since founding what started as a tie company over 40 years ago, the Ralph Lauren Corporation has gone on to become a global lifestyle brand instantly recognisable for its all-American aesthetic across fashion, interiors, accessories and fragrances.
