Nicole Kidman, Audrey Tatou, and Brad Pitt. What do these celebrities have in common? They've all hocked the iconic Chanel No. 5 fragrance. If you were thrown off by the Brad Pitt addition it's because he was recently announced as the new face of the fragrance, and his first commercial will air October 15th. While the brand officially announced their collaboration with Pitt back in May, everybody kinda forgot about it. But it's real, it's happening, and the first behind-the-scenes photos have been released.
Pitt is making perfume history, because this is the first time Chanel has used a man to sell a woman's fragrance. The powers that be aren't spilling many details, but Andrea d'Avack, president of Chanel Beauty & Fragrance, explained their reasoning behind making Pitt their main man to WWD. "We think very much that the perfume is a seduction between a man, a woman, and the perfume."
