ROLAND MOURET

Wendover dress, £1,990
Roland Mouret has teamed up with Liberty to launch an exclusive capsule collection in celebration of the launch of his new dedicated in-store space - the Roland Mouret Corner.

"Roland is a renaissance man and we were having discussions and brainstorming all the different collaborative projects we could work together on in the future," said Liberty managing director Ed Burstell. "This made sense to be the first and we hope it's the first of many more and varied categories."

The new space features vintage furniture, a bespoke rug and custom-made rails housing the designer's latest collections. The new capsule range comprises four elegant dresses in two new colourways - a teal and electric blue.

"Our in-store world of Roland represents a pure, classic aesthetic with a slightly eccentric twist - slightly surprising but utterly modern," added Burstell. "Roland is one of his generations' most important designers, as he has a consistent vision over time - moving his followers forward but with sensitivity, commerciality and consistently original design. He sets trends that the world follows, and too often copies!"
