CELEBRITIES DON ALPHABET SCARVES

Pop stars and celebrities have been donning  colourful alphabet scarves by high-street store Matalan with their initial displayed as a collegiate style appliqué letter in support of  Alderhay Children's Hospital charity.

B for Britney: The singing superstar supported the Alphabet Scarves campaign to help raise money for a new Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool 

The Liverpool-based hospital has just celebrated its centenary year and provides care for over 275,000 children and young people every year.
Money raised will be going straight to a new state-of-the-art children's hospital, education and research centre 'Alder Hey in the Park' set to open in 2015.

The acrylic scarves are being sold in a range of vibrant colours in Matalan stores across the UK and online, for £10 (and £5 for children's scarves), with 100 per cent of profits going straight to a new state-of-the-art children's hospital, education and research centre 'Alder Hey in the Park', which is set to open in 2015.
