Charlotte Beecham is the twenty-something trendsetter and creative force behind accessories label Charlotte Simone, which she founded in 2011. Her signature furry hoods and neon Popsicle scarves have been spotted on the likes of Olivia Palermo, Poppy Delevingne and Alexa Chung, whilst Rita Ora even posed for the brand's campaign
What inspired you to move into outerwear?
I was ready to expand the Charlotte Simone offering and moving into the world of outerwear just felt like the next, organic step. I made a jacket for myself with leftover scraps in the office – that’s really where the idea came from.
So, if you had to choose, which is your favourite?
The Big Bird Bomber in candy pink is my personal favourite. The voluminous arms make you look like an Easter treat!
What’s the coolest way to style them?
I always keeps my looks simple and accessorise with a statement piece. The same rule applies for the bombers: I suggest basic denim or leather – it’s the perfect overlay for low-key looks.
How should we dress it up or down?
I’m a sneakers girl, so for me it’s the ideal day-to-night accessory. Slip over your day wear and head out to meet friends. You could also dress it up with a playsuit or a little black dress.
Who would you love to see wearing the collection?
I would love to see Lena Dunham in a fluffy CS bomber – she’s my ultimate girl crush. I adore her brains and beauty, and I know we’d be best friends, she just hasn’t met me yet.
