THE first images from the Maison Martin Margiela for H&M advertising campaign have just been released. Shot by artist and director Sam Taylor-Johnson, the pictures are the first preview of precisely what the hugely-anticipated designer-high street collaboration has in store.
The images showcase a taster of both the men's and womenswear on offer - a selection of chic separates with a focus on silhouette and cut, the likes of which are synonymous with the French fashion house's mainline collection. It was revealed last week that Taylor-Johnson shot a series of short films and still photographs for the campaign on the streets of Paris.
The Maison Martin Margiela for H&M collection will land in stores and online on November 15.
Five images from the campaign have been released, and they show that the French fashion house has very much stuck to its signature style for the lower-priced line.
The collection is also season-appropriate with lots of outerwear on offer (how cosy does that white 'duvet' coat look?) as well as quirky tailoring - for which the house is famous - some snazzy mirror ball leggings and some rather smart menswear too.
